The filename for a ClipArt.com image should end in .jpg, .gif, .eps, .wmf, or .psd. If your file ends in .mpl, you have downloaded some of the web frame instead of the image. This usually occurs when you choose "Save As" from the browser's File menu to save the image -- DO NOT DO THIS!

To download the actual image, click Download now to the right of the appropriate file type (JPEG, GIF, EPS, WMF, or PSD), then follow the instructions below for that file type:

JPEG and GIF

1. Right-click (Windows) or click-hold (Mac) the larger image that appears in a new browser window.

2. Choose Save Image As..., Save Picture As..., or Download to Disk from the POP-UP menu. (Do NOT select the "Save As" option from the File pull-down menu!)

3. In the "Save As..." window that appears, specify where you want the image to be saved. TIP: Saving the image to your desktop will make it easier to find later.

4. Click Save.

WMF and EPS

1. Select Save File or Save this file to disk from the POP-UP menu.

2. In the "Save As..." window that appears, specify where you want the image to be saved. TIP: Saving the image to your desktop will make it easier to find later.

3. Click Save.
