You probably downloaded the thumbnail (preview) instead of the full-size image. ClipArt.com's previews are very small (1.5 inches max) and very low-resolution (only 72 dots per inch).

To see if you have downloaded a preview, look at the filename -- thumbnails have a ".thm" extension.

If you have downloaded a preview, you will need to download the full-size image:

  1. Redo your original search to find the thumbnail again.

  2. Click on the thumbnail to get to the download area. (Do NOT right-click or click-hold.)

  3. Click the Download now link to the right of the appropriate file type.
